ROUTE Mobile App Redesign

Spring 2022

Overview

I did an analysis and redesign of ROUTE's mobile app flow. The goal was to streamline navigating to the status page of a package and to make the overview of all your packages easier to view and navigate.

Assignment

We picked an existing app and then found a flow in it. We then rebranded the app and redesigned the flow and microinteractions to improve the user experience. And finally we made our design into an animation using Adobe After Effects and Premiere.

Project Goals

  1. Make a well educated analysis on the app and the flow
  2. Redesign the flow to with better user interaction
  3. Streamline other functions of the app

Research and Analysis

Description & User Persona

For this project, I decided to analyze the "Package Information" flow. After analysis, I created this task flow diagram showing the different steps you would take to achieve the task. I added a brief User Profile as well.

Wireframes

After my analysis of the original flow, I made redesigned each screen into wireframes.

Deliverables

Hi fidelity screens

For the fidelity redesign, I made a wireflow with the new redesigned screens as well as an updated User Profile

Using the exported frames, I made a working prototype animation of the flow
